Practical Nurse program

The purpose of the Practical Nurse (PN) program at Davis Technical College is to prepare the graduate to function at the first educational level of nursing, the Licensed Practical Nurse, in a multitude of healthcare settings. Graduates will also be prepared to directly move into the next educational level of nursing: the Associate Degree. Classroom theory is provided concurrently with a variety of clinical practice situations.

  2. Complete and submit the Practical Nurse Program Application during the following application dates:
    • September 05, 2018 - October 17, 2018 (Class begins: February 07, 2019)
    • January 02, 2019 - February 13, 2019 (Class begins: July 02, 2019)
    • May 01, 2019 - June 15, 2019 (Class begins: October 08, 2019)
  3. If you are accepted into the Practical Nurse program, complete the Davis Tech Admissions Application
  4. Pay the $45.00 fee to the cashier in Student Services
  5. Review post-admission requirements and bring an official transcript to The Davis Tech Nursing Office of classes completed.
