Statement from Davis Tech on Racial & Social Injustice

To all of our friends in the Davis Tech community, but especially to the Black, Indigenous, and People of Color in our community, we want it to be clear that Davis Tech stands with you. In the wake of the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and many, many others, we are looking inward at our hearts, minds, and biases, and identifying changes that need to be made within our organization. Davis Tech is driven by its mission to change lives, but this cannot only be applied to some.

As an educational institution, we have a responsibility to understand why the BIPOC community continues to face injustices including limited access to education and economic opportunities, and many more inequalities. Davis Tech is looking internally to identify barriers to access or inequitable and unjust practices and policies. We remain committed to providing accessible, dynamic education to everyone and to meeting every student where they are. We remain committed to a campus in which people are treated with dignity, decency, and respect. We stand with the BIPOC community.
